so when i started this sweater on january 1 i had a semi-goal of finishing by the end of the month because, i don’t know, i guess i thought it would sound cool? “oh yeah this sweater only took me a month to knit (please ignore the fact that january is a long month and also please ignore the fact that ravelry is full of people who churn out sweaters every three days what is up with those people anyway).” but the truth is that as much as i like to knit, i like to lie around and do nothing almost as much, so i slacked on this sweater to the point where it has become obvious that there is no way i can finish by tomorrow without giving up things like “sleeping” or “functioning hands” which would be super dumb because it’s not even cold enough this week to wear wool sweaters, and even if it was, i own other sweaters. so, anyway, although i did not meet my self-imposed and totally pointless deadline, i guess that in the month of january i did produce about 90% of a sweater so maybe that still gets me a few cool-knitter points.
also, how cute is my dog? “oh, there is a thing on the floor, i better go show it who has dominion here. i’ll mess up your white balance while i’m at it too.”
Reblogging this for reasons.
1. It’s a delightful read. What is up with those people anyway?!
2. um, hello? Cabled sweater awesomeness!
3. Dog… yeah, I’m not into dogs but some of you may be so… dog!
